About Me

Em Rusciano

As a writer, comedian, singer, television and radio presenter; Em Rusciano is one of the most well-rounded and talented performers in Australia.

With sell-out shows around Australia every year of the past five, Em’s stage presence keeps getting bigger. In February 2018, she embarks on the Evil Queen tour, in which she had to add extra shows after the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Palais Theatre and Queensland Performing Arts Centre sold out in only a few hours. Meanwhile, Em co-hosts The Em, Grant & Ed weekday breakfast radio show on Sydney’s 2DayFM with Grant Denyer and Ed Kavalee, dominating the excellent engagement across their social media channels. Em’s interview with P!nk for the Hit Network obtained more than 8 million views, prompting an ongoing thirst from fans for Em’s candid, honest and hilarious celebrity interviews.

Em’s best-selling first book Try Hard: Tales from the Life of a Needy Overacheiver went to the top of the iBook charts before it was even released, with great critical and public acclaim. The self-narrated audiobook version reached the top of the iTunes audiobook charts upon release. Also on the iTunes charts are Em’s two singles, Brand New Day and Versions of Me, which reached the top ten in the national charts. Em is also a proud ambassador for Beyond Blue, regularly appearing in their campaigns for mental health.

Most importantly, she still finds time to watch every single episode of Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Priorities are essential.
